DESCRIPTION:In light of recent discussions on this page\, it seems more tim
 ely than ever that we need a place to talk and debate. But if Facebook isn
 't suitable\, where is this place? By the milk fridge in the shop? In the 
 old phone boxes? Under Henderson's bridge?\nWhat we need is a neutral\, ac
 cessible space with a thoughtful process. That's why I'd like to invite yo
 u to join a new community forum at our hall. Emerging from the Conversatio
 ns of Consequence workshop\, this series will create space for conversatio
 ns that affect our shared island life.\nIt's intended to build trust and c
 ohesion through regular open dialogue about things that matter to us all. 
 What would the benefits be? What would Raasay look like in 5 years if we b
 uilt this?\nAs the community faces ongoing changes and decisions\, it's im
 portant we listen to each other's perspectives\, understand different view
 points\, and explore a shared future. It will take time and at times be ch
 allenging\, yet ultimately I believe through the power of conversation we 
 can take agency for our future\, in a way that involves as many people as 
 possible. Thats why CNI is facilitating this series. \nThe group will meet
  every other Wednesday at 7pm at the hall\, starting May 21st.\nWe will fo
 llow the Way of Council\, a simple practice where people speak from the he
 art\, listen deeply\, and show mutual respect. Initially the group will be
  open\, then from the 2nd session it will be closed. Everyone is welcome\,
  though it requires willingness to engage and a commitment to the process.

 e there are winners and losers\n-A place for complaints without constructi
